Kreative Blogger Award

It’s award week here at the homestead!!

A HUGE thank you to our friends Justine and Flannery over at Full Belly Sisters for honoring us with the Kreativ Blogger Award! This award is a way for bloggers to show appreciation and support for their fellow bloggers for all the hard work they put into their blogs. I am truly blessed to be part of such a wonderful community!

As a recipient of this award my first responsibility is to list 10 random facts about myself.

My husband and I legally changed our last names before our daughter was born. He was picked on as a child for his last name and he didn’t want his daughter to go through what he did. So after a little paperwork and a small fee here we are!
I can’t pick just one favorite food. Or even one favorite type of food. I love Indian, Mexican, Italian, Chinese, American, and the list goes on! I guess I just love food
I look terrible in yellow! Absolutely terrible!
I want to want to run. I admire a runner’s dedication and drive. But alas, I simply do not want to run.
I believe in aliens. Not the little green men who abduct people. But the universe is too vast for me to believe we are all alone out here.
I do not like clowns…AT ALL!
I am terrible at growing flowers. Give me a hanging basket or potted arrangement and I’ll kill it every time. Good thing I don’t do the same with vegetables!
I eat toast with peanut butter almost everyday for breakfast.
One of my favorite things about spring is hunting morel mushrooms. One of my other favorite things about spring is eating morel mushrooms!!
I want to travel to India, Ireland, and Italy before I die. I want to experience the unique foods, culture, and natural scenery that each has to offer.

My second responsibility is to pass this award on to six additional blogs. I have made sure not to repeat any of the blogs from my Versatile Blogger award post (even though they all deserve it)!
