That was great! Thanks for sharing. You know I got one of those Versatile Blogger awards today and started clicking links and following from one blog to the next and I ended up here. I love your blog! I live in Fairbanks, Alaska where it gets pretty cold but I’m really wanting to learn more about growing veggies and herbs and how to use and store them. I am taking a class right now that I hope will help but it isn’t hands on so I’m taking a bunch of notes. She is a master gardener here in this area so I should be able to learn a lot from her. Hopefully I can learn a think or two from your blog too. I planted some asparagus last year and I don’t know if they will make it or not but will see. I was told I probably wouldn’t get anything the first year so I’m curious to see if I get anything this year or if I’ve just wasted valuable garden real estate LOL

Visiting Alaska is pretty high up on my bucket list. Such an amazing place! In regards to aspargus, I think it does take a year or two before you see results. Good luck
