Chocolate Pecan Clusters

I love, love, LOVE chocolate nut clusters, also known as Turtles, but they tend to be somewhat expensive so we rarely buy them. Here is a recipe I came up with that turned out so well I gave a box of them to my mother for her birthday! They would make a great homemade Christmas gift for the chocolate lover in your life. :)

Ingredients:

  • Chocolate & peanut butter candy. Think Reese Cups or Dove Chocolates.
  • Pecans
  • Caramel Syrup

Directions:

  • Chop up your candy and pecans into small pieces.
  • Put the candy and pecans into a double boiler and heat, stirring often, until the chocolate is completely melted.
  • Using a small spoon, place scoops of your chocolate mix onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Allow to cool for a few minutes and then drizzle with caramel syrup.
  • Place the cookie sheet into your freezer until your clusters have hardened, about 1/2 hour.
  • Enjoy!!!
